Ukraine for God's Glory

已更新:2月22日

"When He (Jesus) saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (Matt 9:36) NIV

It has been only 30 days since Russia first attacked Ukraine, and the devastating results are already beyond belief. 15,000+ casualties, 30,000+ injured, and over 4 million refugees have fled into different neighboring countries, and half of them are now in Poland.

On March 15, we left Texas for Warsaw, Poland in quest of “Lord, what shall I do?” In 7 days, we saw thousands of Ukrainian refugees, talked with a few refugee families, and met with the local Chinese church & a Ukrainian Baptist church in Warsaw.

Based on the current situation, refugee numbers may increase from the current 4 million (10% of the Ukrainian population) to 8 million (20%) in the next few weeks. As of now, many humanitarian organizations are helping refugees outside of Ukraine, and only a few are trying to help those who are left behind in different war zones inside Ukraine. They are desperately in need of food, water, clothing, medicines, etc. Therefore, we have decided to focus on sending food & supplies into Ukraine, and helping those who want to leave the country.

We formed a ministry alliance with Emmanuel Foundation (Chinese mission organization in Warsaw) and the Ukrainian Baptist Church in Warsaw with a mutual vision—to focus our relief efforts on helping those people who are still inside Ukraine.

Please pray for our relief efforts, and please consider to support this urgent need. Your donations are tax-deductible in US, and 100% of your donations will be forwarded to Poland & Ukraine for different projects in helping those who are still inside Ukraine.

Here is a 7 minute recording from the Ukrainian Baptist Church pastor, Mikhail Baloga.

Serving with you, Peter & Sarianne Trinh
